Our Cleaning System:
We use a top of the line Truck-Mounted cleaning machine that is located inside of our cleaning van and is powered by a four cylinder gasoline engine. Here are some of the benefits of using a Truck-Mount over other types of cleaning systems:
- On-board Water Source: Along with the cleaning unit itself, we bring 110 gallons of fresh water to each job. This means that most jobs can be completed without using any of your water.
- Softened Water: Before going into the unit, our water passes through a high capacity water softener to remove mineral content and help to produce the most effective cleaning solution possible.
- Hot Water: The softened water is pumped though a complex heat exchange system that produces temperatures up to 230 degrees for maximum cleaning power.
- High Pressure: The pump inside the unit produces 400psi of water pressure for carpet cleaning which creates agitation on the fiber to help release soil and other particulate.
- Powerful Vacuum: Truck-Mounted systems produce high levels of suction that removes as much moisture from the carpet as possible and helps to facilitate rapid drying.
Our Process:
Carpet Cleaning
Basic:
- Spotting/Preconditioning (spotters are applied and heavliy soiled areas are treated with special detergents)
- Hot water extraction (hot water and detergent are sprayed at 400psi and extracted with strong vacuum)
Optional Steps:
- Disinfect: Before the basic cleaning we apply a disinfectant/antimicrobial to the fiber. (This is useful for carpeting that has experienced pet accidents as well as water damage)
- Neutralize/Rinse: After the basic cleaning we apply a neutralizing agent and extract the carpet a second time using just fresh water. We then go over the carpet again with only vacuum to remove any excess moisture. (The removal of detergent residue helps carpets stay cleaner for longer and the neutralizer helps with odors)
- Protection: After all cleaning and rinsing is complete we apply a protectant to the fiber and brush it in to ensure even coverage. For synthetic fibers such as nylon/olefin/polyester we use 3M Scotchgard. For natural fibers such as wool we use a special top quality protectant.
Berbers: These looped fibers are among the most difficult to clean. They require more time and attention as well as extremely hot water and high quality detergents. When cleaning berbers we automatically neutralize and rinse as well as perform a dry vacuum pass.
Area Rugs/Orientals: Like berbers, these rugs require extra attention. After applying appropriate pre conditioners, extracting with hot water and detergents, we neutralize and rinse the rugs leaving them residue free.
Upholstery Cleaning
- Preconditioning: All fabric is treated with appropriate pre spotters and then gently massaged using upholstery brushes
- Hot Water Extraction: The fabric is then extracted with hot water and self neutralizing detergent
- Protection:(optional) A top quality protectant is applied after the extraction
Leather Cleaning
- Cleaning: All leather surfaces are cleaned with specific leather cleaning detergents to remove soil and stains.
- Reconditioning: All leather surfaces are treated with a conditioner to put the oils and moisture back into the leather to improve the comfort and preserve the quality of your furniture.
- Protection: After cleaning and reconditioning, a high quality leather protectant is applied to all leather surfaces.
